The Caterpillar Care Carnival is part of our annual caterpillar adoption event.  You and your child can come create a habitat for your caterpillars and learn about the life cycle of a caterpillar/butterfly through games, activities, and an age-appropriate story.

Absolutely!  Registration to this event includes your caterpillar adoption kit, all supplies to create your habitat, and a care guide.  Limit of ONE kit per child for this event.

The Caterpillar Care Carnival will be held Friday, April 21st, 2023.  There will be two sessions available: 2:30pm-3:30pm & 4pm-5pm.

Yes, registration is REQUIRED to attend. There are only 50 spots each session for this year's carnival and payment is due at the time of registration.  Registration opens to the public beginning March 14th, 2023.

The cost to attend the Caterpillar Care Carnival is $14 per child (adults attend free, but do not get their own kit).

Yes!  Early registration for members opens March 7th, and member pricing is $11/per child.

No - just bring yourself and your child(ren), everything is included in the price of registration.

Yes, however additional kits will not be available for pickup until immediately after the event - we will have them ready for pickup as you exit. Caterpillar Adoption kits are $8.50 each ($6.50 for members), and can be purchased in addition to the event registration. 

Yes!  The Caterpillar Adoption kit includes your caterpillars, their food, care instructions, an adoption certificate, and the screen for your habitat*. Pre-sale for kits begins April 14th (March 28th for members)

The Caterpillar Adoption Kits are $8.50 each, $6.50 for members.
